Connecting IDs to an
Imported Cable List and Equipment Symbols (Conceptual Design)

Select
ID Manager
(Conceptual Design) from the
Conceptual
Design ribbon.

Use the right mouse button and select
Collaboration
Manager to select which design files and panel to use.

Use the right mouse button and select Import Node Map.

Use the right mouse button and select Display Non Associated IDs.

Select Node without value in CAD Object.

Use the right mouse button and select Place Equipment Node.

Enter the coordinates for the insertion point, or pick a point in
the drawing.

Repeat the function for all non associated Nodes, then press OK to
finish the Equipment View.

Use the right mouse button and select Place Routing Nodes.

Enter a unique Routing ID for each Routing Node (i.e., R1, etc.).

Repeat the function for all Routing Nodes.

Press OK, then press Yes to save the changes and complete the
command.
